Valentin Lessner
A Bavarian “kid” fond of his family and especially of his grandad which his first collection “Ultra Ripam Alpina” is inspired by.
Showed at the 37th Festival of Photography and Fashion in Hyères, he has been recognized and prized for his creativity, scooping two prices from Maison Chanel and Mercedes Benz.
A strong eye for aesthetics, amazing design skill, great tailoring, and craftsmanship, make this young designer a unique talent. L&T is proud to have collaborated with such a brilliant mind with the creation of all headwear and metalware for his winning collection: caps, balaclava, plates, buckles, metal endings.
Igor Dieryck
This young talented designer recently presented his YESSIR collection at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp fashion show. Taking his interest in the contemporary world, mixing it with freer artistic expression, the YESSIR collection reflects his creative brilliance.
Igor’s work effortlessly displays detailed Indian hand-made embroidery techniques for sequin, pearls, and geometric shapes. Through collaboration, Labels & Things sponsored the beautifully embellished details of his puffed jacket design.
Amir Torres
Through embroidery and textile manipulation, using destroyed flowers, raw edges, and worn-down elegance, Amir’s exceptional attention to detail and accessories led him to receive the Labels & Things 2021 Award.
In full support of his vision, Labels & Things sponsored his flower-inspired belt buckles and handmade rhinestone fly embellishments. Together, we developed black sequins flower badges, “manipulated” by Amir to form an effervescent skirt.
Tom Van Der Borght
Tom’s passion for creativity and drive to achieve makes him an extraordinary talent to work alongside. Labels & Things collaborated on two significant collections with Tom. The first collection took home the top prize at the 35th Hyeres festival. Tom later went on to open the Mercedes Benz fashion week in Berlin with this collection. For the 36th edition, we collaborated on his “winners” collection, which was featured in several magazine editorials, such as Vogue.
Through collaborating on exquisite caps from feather-like fabric and using pineapple leather, to producing and sponsoring his meticulously crafted array of trims, accessories, and embellishments of belts, caps, labels, and more. We at Labels & Things were able to push our techniques further and reach new levels of craftsmanship.
Sarah Levy
Sarah Levy’s is an exceptional talent for accessories. Her designs are a perfect mix of youthfulness and energetic flair. A 34th Hyeres finalist for accessories, her approach has undoubtedly elevated our techniques to the next level.
From out-of-the-box caps with vizers to zippers and embroidery, you named it. We loved making it. Sarah’s work effortlessly showcases the impact collaborating with young designers can have.
