Elephant Heaven in Europe #proudpartner

A place to rest for one of the most majestic animals on earth.

Elephant Haven, a European Elephant Sanctuary is a safe space for the resocialization and rehabilitation of captivated elephants.
While fortunately more and more European countries are banning wildlife in circuses there are still more than 100 elephants in captivity around Europe.
Once freed relocation to their country of origin is not always an option…
That’s where the nonprofit steps in… To offer those beautiful creatures a home away from home.
A place where they can roam free, unchained and unbothered.
A place where they can resolve trauma’s, learn to trust again and reconnect with their species after years of isolation.

With the main focus on caring for the Elephants, EHEES also aims to develop educational and informational programs about Elephants and their behaviors, the local fauna and flora and encourage a re-connection with Nature.

The sanctuary is located in the Perigold-Limousin Regional Park in the Southwest of France. Where the first 2 inhabitants, Gandhi and Delhi, have about 70 acres of gentle rolling hills to explore.

This past October, the 38th edition of the International Festival of Fashion, Photography and Accessories in Hyères took place at the iconic Villa Noailles – and the creative spark it ignited is still going strong. Since its founding in 1986, the festival has built a reputation as the oldest and most respected platforms dedicated to supporting young professionals in the fashion industry. What began as a showcase for emerging fashion designs has evolved into a vibrant and a multidisciplinary event that also highlights young talents in photography and accessories.

From October 12th to 15th, 2023, the festival welcomed an international selection of designers, photographers, and accessory makers. The exhibitions remained open to the public until January 2024, allowing a wide audience to engage with the next generation of creative voices. Alongside runway shows and installations, the festival featured hands-on workshops, talks and performances – all set against the gorgeous backdrop of the French Riviera.

One of the most talked-about highlights was the triple win of Belgian designer Igor Dieryck, who took home the Grand Prix du Jury Premiere Vision, the Le19M Métiers d’Art Prize, and the Public Prize – City of Hyères. His collection, inspired by his experiences in the hotel industry, combined sharp social insights with refined design, impressed both the jury and audience alike.
